Course content

The main role of a Product Owner is to increase the value of the product for which he or she is responsible. This chapter explores the factors and strategies for generating and measuring added value.

This section analyzes the differences between Agile and traditional approaches, and how the Product Owner works in an Agile environment to deliver his products.

The Product Backlog is the fuel that fuels the development team. Managing it is one of the main tasks of the Scrum Product Owner. This chapter presents User Stories, requirements and organizational strategies.

What does a good communication plan look like? Why do we need to communicate? What impact does poor communication have on stakeholders? This chapter explores distribution strategies and how to optimize value.

Communication is often the first step towards creating value. What better way to learn how to plan communication than to do it yourself? This chapter teaches how to identify the basis of objectives and requirements, sort backlogs, evaluate adaptations and carry out delivery planning.

A good understanding of total cost of ownership (TCO) is fundamental to successful product management. How can we optimize value creation and maximize the potential of a product or system within an organization? How does this fit into an existing product plan, and why is the development team’s “Definition of Done” so important?
