IIBA Certification Framework

Basic certifications

The first level is designed for professionals new to business analysis. It is awarded on the basis of passing an examination. Those who qualify and pass this exam will receive the title Entry Certificate in Business Analysis™ (ECBA®). We offer a concentrated program of courses preparing for ECBA certification (Entry Certificate in Business Analysis™). This program covers the essential business analysis concepts needed to pass the ECBA exam, making it ideal for those starting their career in this field. With targeted, interactive modules, participants are well prepared for certification.

Level Two is designed for business analysis professionals with 2 to 3 years’ experience. Achieving this level depends on passing an examination. The Certification of Capability in Business Analysis™ (CCBA® ) professional designation will be awarded to those who meet the eligibility criteria and pass the exam. We offer a concise course, specially designed for preparation for CCBA (Certification of Capability in Business Analysis™) certification. This program targets the advanced skills and knowledge needed by business analysis professionals wishing to prepare for the CCBA exam. Each module is geared towards effective preparation, helping participants to position themselves favorably for CCBA certification.

Level three is reserved for business analysis professionals with more than 5 years’ experience and demonstrable leadership skills. This level is awarded to those who pass a specific examination. The Certified Business Analysis Professional™ (CBAP®) designation will be awarded to candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and pass the exam. Our curriculum is carefully designed to prepare candidates for CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional™) certification. It focuses on the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the field of business analysis, without reference to experience requirements. The modules are designed to provide in-depth understanding and comprehensive preparation for the CBAP exam, enabling participants to acquire the skills required to pass and obtain their certification.

Extension certifications

IIBA-AAC certification is designed for business analysis professionals and agile practitioners performing analysis in an agile environment. The Agile Analysis Certification™ (IIBA-AAC) professional designation is awarded to those who pass the corresponding exam. Our training program specially designed for Agile Analysis Certification (AAC) targets professionals aspiring to become agile business analysts. The course takes an in-depth look at the principles and practices of analysis in an agile context, focusing on the skills needed to be effective in an agile environment. This program covers the full scope for the AAC exam, combining theory and practical exercises to ensure a solid understanding of agile approaches and their application in business analysis.

TheIIBA Product Ownership Analysis (CPOA) certification program promotes the integration of business analysis and product management, complemented by an agile approach and attitude, to optimize value creation. This program provides the opportunity to learn the key concepts needed to develop products with a high degree of success.

We have developed a specific training program for CPOA (Certified Product Ownership Analysis) certification, focusing on techniques and best practices in product ownership analysis. This program guides candidates through the key concepts and strategies needed to excel in this field, providing the essential tools and knowledge to pass the CPOA certification exam.

Earning the In Business Data Analytics™ Certification (CBDA) tells employers about your passion and skills in the business analysis of analytics initiatives. This certification recognizes qualified professionals in business data analysis.

We offer targeted training for Certification in Business Data Analytics (CBDA), focusing on business analysis in the data analytics sector. This course is designed to provide an in-depth understanding of data analysis techniques in the context of business analysis.
